Dive into new Global Talent Pool

An innovative platform has been launched to help DFK International member firms attract the brightest talent from around the world to support and grow their businesses.

They can now access a large pool of global talent available through the worldwide body for professional accountants ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

A dedicated online careers site for DFK International has been created within ACCA’s established recruitment portal, ACCA Careers and Job Board.

It can connect DFK firms with ACCA’s unrivaled network of some 700,000 students and members around the world, and help them to source quality candidates among aspiring and experienced accountancy professionals.

Those with ACCA Approved Employer status are able to post their company profiles and current vacancies on the site, with plans to extend it to all DFK firms.

The site also provides a direct link to DFK International’s own website to enable ACCA’s membership to access a full list of DFK firms and information on career opportunities available.

The new initiative is a result of the partnership formed between DFK and ACCA last year, when a memorandum of understanding was signed to strengthen the global talent pool of the profession.

Martin Sharp, executive director of DFK International, said: “We’re delighted to be launching this initiative with ACCA as we recognize that many of our members share a common challenge within the accountancy profession of attracting and developing talent.

“ACCA’s members are among the most highly-qualified and highly sought after accountants in the world and this is a way of creating a shortcut for them to find opportunities amongst our member firms, and for our members to attract the right people to their organisation.

“In the first instance, it is aimed at those DFK firms that hold ACCA Approved Employer status and we will be exploring the possibility of extending it to our members more widely.”

The site is now live with the first firms company profiles listed by Demetriou and Associates Business Advisers, Anne Brady McQuillans DFK, Wilson Wright LLP, JK Medora & Co LLP, JP Magson, Alexander Sloan and NR Doshi and Partners.

The ACCA Careers and Job Board attracts 170,000 unique users and 1.2 million page views a month, generating 70,000 applications to jobs posted.
