Shea Labagh Dobberstein’s CORRE Accounting Solutions team seeks a qualified Accounting Systems Manager to assess clients’ current financial systems, research and recommend needed upgrades, and execute or supervise system implementations, system integrations and data migrations. SLD’s CORRE Accountants provide accounting services to many Bay Area non-profits and privately held companies: Collecting, Organizing, Recording, Reporting, and Evaluating our clients’ financial data.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Support growing team of accountants in maximizing accounting system functionality
  • Assess current client accounting practices, and propose tools and methods to reduce manual entries and increase efficiency
  • Act as administrator of all users for SLD’s shared systems, such as: QBO,, Tax1099, and Expensify
  • Work with accounting team to onboard all clients, selecting the best tech-stack to apply to each engagement
  • Manage all implementations of systems adopted for clients’ unique needs and/or system integrations
  • Proactively anticipate clients’ needs and propose solutions to current or future challenges
  • Assist with marketing new systems to existing clients
  • Stay abreast of and evaluate new technologies to best meet our clients’ needs


Most Important:

  • Experience with implementing, syncing or linking systems (accounting, POS, inventory, CRM, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Desire to contribute to a growing practice
  • Superior customer service skills: personable, polished, and professional
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Yardi, Intaact and other accounting systems
  • Superior Excel skills needed to pivot, organize and format data for imports
  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Accounting or system-related certifications
  • Project management experience
  • Car to travel to client sites as needed within the Bay Area

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Personal experience with many QBO 3rd party applications
  • General understanding of APIs
  • Knowledge of varied industries and related accounting needs (e.g. real estate, construction, professional services, non- profits, etc.
  • Ability to draft system workflows for staff and clients to follow
  • Ability to teach staff about varied system nuances
