Shea Labagh Dobberstein’s CORRE Accounting Solutions team provides accounting services to many Bay Area non-profits and privately held companies, and our practice is growing. SLD’s CORRE Accountants provide end-to-end accounting services: Collecting, Organizing, Recording, Reporting, and Evaluating our clients’ financial data.

Primary Job Functions

  • Provide top-level support to clients
  • Proactively anticipate clients’ needs and propose solutions to current or future challenges
  • Lead and review monthly closes and produce monthly financials
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all assigned client work

Requirements

Candidate Must Have:

  • 3-5 years full-cycle accounting experience, 3 years focused on non-profit accounting
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Superior customer service skills: personable, polished, and professional
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Blackbaud, and/or other Non-Profit Systems
  • Experience managing all schedules to support non-profit audits, including Temporarily Restricted Net Assets and Statements of Functional Expenses
  • Experience in creating and delivering or filing financial grant reports
  • 4-year college degree
  • Car to travel to client sites as needed within the Bay Area


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BS in Accounting or related field
  • Experience in preparing all schedules to support annual audit
  • Experience with A-133 audits
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience building and managing budgets ($2-20 Million)
